HERE'S HOW IT GOES... Test driver Andrea Bertolini takes some instruction from the Ferrari crew responsible for production of the 2008/9 A1GP race car prototype.
The Ferrari-powered A1GP car for the 2008/09 season has just had its first shakedown at Fiorano, the company's test track in Italy, in the hands of test driver Andrea Bertolini.
Initial feedback was said to be "positive".
There for the event were A1GP's technical director John Travis, general manager for technical and operations John Wickham and lead consultant on electronic development Anton Stipinovich.
They all said they were delighted with the shakedown results, said to have been "very encouraging" for a car running for the first time.
The team will now undertake an intensive test programme at the Fiorano test track and at Imola.
