EMTA Holdings Reports Greater Than 10% Savings in Fuel Economy in Michigan Test
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., -- EMTA Holdings, Inc., maker of XenTx(TM), Synergyn(TM) and other engine treatment and fuel efficiency products, today announced that its engine treatment product XenTx was comprehensively tested in Michigan and yielded net fuel savings that exceeded 10%. As a direct result of this successful test, the Company has just received orders to treat vehicles for the City of Madison Heights, Michigan. The Company anticipates orders from additional cities and municipalities in Michigan as a result of the abovementioned testing. This initial order was secured through the Company's relationship with Green Performance Systems, Inc. ("GPS") an American commercial distributor for XenTx Extreme Engine Treatments.

The City of Madison Heights, Michigan was selected as the test city in a group of 13 municipalities, for XenTx Extreme Engine Treatment. The City has been testing XenTx in several vehicles for the city, including supervisors' trucks, police vehicles, and dump trucks. Recent test results from a supervisor's Chevy 3/4 ton pick-up treated with XenTx Extreme Engine Treatment showed a 13% mpg increase in fuel mileage -- an increase from 8.89 mpg to 9.95 mpg. Other results from a Dodge Charger Pursuit police car (3.6 Litre/58000 miles/1800 miles in 1 month) showed improved fuel mileage from 10.26 mpg to 11.56 after treated with XenTx Extreme Engine Treatment -- a 12% mpg increase. Based on these very significant results the remaining 12 municipalities are expected to add XenTx Extreme Engine Treatment to their vehicles.

Rob Amoe, Sales Manager for GPS Inc. says, "We are encouraged that the City of Madison Heights is pursuing accurate testing of our products in their vehicles. The city wants to use a comprehensive approach in treating all of their vehicles -- including their Fire and Water Departments -- to yield the city significant savings."

Previously EMTA Holdings, Inc. announced that the City of Las Vegas Nevada was using XenTx(TM) Diesel Fuel Treatment with CleanBoost technology in all city-owned diesel-powered vehicles. The XenTx Diesel Fuel Treatment reduces hazardous emissions such as Nitrous Oxide (NOx) emissions from diesel and biodiesel fueled equipment. Dan Hyde, Fleet Manager for the City of Las Vegas stated, "NOx emissions were reduced by 18 percent after using the XenTx(TM) Diesel Fuel Treatment in all of our biodiesel powered vehicles. The increase in fuel economy more than off-set the additional cost of using the product."

EMTA Chief Executive Officer, Ed Lonergan, commented, "We are excited to provide energy efficient and cost saving products that help cities reduce emissions, increase fuel mileage and save on their operating expenses."
