WARRENDALE, Pa., -- The SAE 2008 International World Congress will not only host automotive experts from around the world, but ones who are truly shaping the world of transportation.
More than 35,000 automotive professionals will attend the SAE 2008 World Congress, April 14-17, at Cobo Center in Detroit. Chairman of the event is Frank Klegon, executive vice president of product development at Chrysler LLC. Chrysler is the host company of the SAE 2008 World Congress with BorgWarner serving as the Tier 1 Strategic Partner. It is the 75th anniversary for the event in Detroit.
In order to best showcase the high-level issues impacting the global automotive industry, three executive-level business theaters will serve as focal points of the SAE 2008 World Congress:
-- The AVL Technology Leadership Theater;
-- The FEV Powertrain Innovation Forum;
-- And new this year will be the SAE Executive Business Theater co-sponsored by ATX Group and Consulting4Drive.
