MUMBAI: Bajaj Auto Limited , India's second-biggest motorcycle maker, said on Sunday it sold 103,260 bikes in July, up 32.4 percent from 77,966 units a year ago.
Its total two-wheeler sales, including scooters, rose 18.7 percent to 120,092 units, while sales of three-wheelers grew 10 percent to 21,651 units.
The three-wheelers sales rose by 10 per cent to 21,651 units from the 19,675 units in July, 2003, it said adding the motorcycle sales crossed to one lakh mark by registering sales of 1,03260 units over the 77,966 motorcycles sold in the same period of 2003.
The sale of CT-100, a new motorcyle launched by the company in May, 2004, was over 57,000 units in July, 2004 while Pulsar recorded a sale of 23,930 units.
Total sales were up 17.3 percent to 141,743 vehicles, the company said.
