It's an Enzo, but not as we know it
A new chapter in Ferrari's FXX program has begun, with the arrival of the FXX Evoluzione supercar.
Based on the Enzo, the FXX Evoluzione enjoys enhanced performance figures of 860bhp, and a 6.2-litre V12 engine that'll rev to 9,500rpm.
The program itself is a strictly limited club for wealthy Ferrari enthusiasts. Only 20 places as a 'client test driver' have ever been offered.
The FXX Evoluzione is strictly a track-only car, capable of lapping the Fiorano test track in only 1 minute 16 seconds - 2 seconds faster than the previous incarnation.
Those lucky enough to be part of the FXX program work with Ferrari engineers to enhance the performance of their cars.
FXX members are invited to track events in the US, Europe and the Asian continent for a total of eight sessions a year.
Michael Schumacher himself reportedly put in an appearance at the handover of the new cars.
