Bad guys in San Francisco, beware - a new Bullitt Mustang is headed your way.
Fans of the classic 1968 movie starring Steve McQueen will appreciate this latest incarnation of the classic pony car.
The movie classic famously features a car chase between detective Bullitt (McQueen) in his Mustang, and the film's bad guys in a black Dodge Charger.
Ford has not been reticent in creating special editions of the Mustang, but the Highland Green paintwork and minimalist appearance of the Bullitt will certainly appeal to lovers of the original.
Deviations from the standard car include lowered suspension, new shocks, springs and a stabiliser bar with a rear spoiler.
The reworked grille loses the pony emblem and front fogs, whilst Bullitt emblems adorn parts of the car.
Inside the car, a black interior with the Sport Leather Seat Appearance package accompanies aluminium touches such as a ball shifter, sill plates and pedal covers, with a custom steering wheel.
The Ford Mustang Bullitt makes its first public showing at the Los Angeles International Auto Show on November 13th.
The Ford Mustang is not sold in the UK, but imported examples are seen on our roads.
Any Dodge Charger owners might wish to keep a sharp look-out.
