Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Enables Supplier Collaboration Utilizing 4C...
EAST MOLINE, Ill., 4CS, Inc., a leading provider of intelligent warranty software applications, recently announced Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc. (MCFA) will add yet another application from its iWarranty software suite -- the Supplier Warranty application. MCFA has already implemented the iWarranty eClaims, Parts Return, Warranty Analytics/Reporting and Service Contracts modules acquired earlier this year.

Kevin Krakora, MCFA Director of Marketing and Services, noted, "The business need leading to the supplier warranty application acquisition was that MCFA has a large number of suppliers from different industries having different standard warranties. We need a tool to help us efficiently administer supplier recovery based on these varied contract terms and conditions." Scot Jackson, MCFA Manager of Purchasing Administration shared, "Our primary objective is to improve supplier warranty cost recovery and to enable a more rapid flow of warranty claim data information from our entire supply chain -- from our dealers all the way through to our suppliers and back."

Kevin commented, "Integrating the supplier warranty application of iWarranty was simply the next step of our long term plan. Our current supplier collaboration process is too manual. We intend to extend our experience with 4CS and iWarranty in hopes of gaining a return on investment within six months or less as other of their customers have."

Scot stated, "It was evident during the assessment that 4CS personnel had a robust knowledge of the supplier warranty recovery process and that knowledge was further evident in the versatility of its iWarranty product. Reducing the cycle time to fix vehicle quality concerns more quickly and effectively through the utilization of iWarranty as a tool enables our suppliers use warranty charge backs to drive corrective action within their organizations. The end result is high quality fork lift trucks."

Gene Weber, 4CS Partner, Automotive and Aerospace, states, "Among the measures of success in this business is seeing our customers leverage 4CS iWarranty and our professional services to drive great results for their organizations and personal careers, and seeing them have the confidence to extend the use of our products and services to their other departments and global divisions. MCFA has done this in the US and in Singapore, and they are looking at other global divisions. They have implemented iWarranty with their Fleet Management Services subsidiary. Obviously, 4CS continues to strive to bring additional value to MCFA. We must continue to earn their loyalty and confidence through every day performance."

MCFA, headquartered in Houston, Texas, manufactures Mitsubishi forklift trucks and Cat lift trucks. MCFA is ISO 9001-2000 certified and has obtained compliance certification from the California Air Resources Board (CARB). MCFA is home to more than 900 employees dedicated to becoming the premier producer of superior quality forklifts. MCFA provides a full line of forklifts with complete sales and product support through more than 600 dealer locations throughout the United States, Canada and Latin America.

4CS is a leading provider of warranty software solutions. 4CS iWarranty software helps reduce the warranty cost of the products significantly by improving the quality and reliability of the products, sharing the cost and information with suppliers and business partners along with automating the warranty management processes.

The iWarranty product directly connects manufacturers, suppliers, dealers, partners and customers in a service network. It optimizes the entire warranty cycle through the integration of the following applications: Claim Submittal, Claim Processing, Claim Review & Payment, Parts Return, Supplier Warranty, Purchased Warranty, Warranty Analytics, and Warranty Center.
