An open-topped concept known as the 'Round Box', will be revealed by Nissan later this week.
Much attention has been paid to the effects of motoring roofless, with the aim of heightening sensations of speed and exhilaration.
Contributing to the shared sensation of speed are unique "road surface windows."
These are small glass panels placed close to the ground on both sides of the car, providing passengers with a view of the rapidly passing road surface, without the risk of road contact.
Also inside is a interactive "Play Catch" system, allowing the driver and passengers - including those in the rear seat - to share entertainment and driving information.
More information about the Round Box will be released at the Tokyo Motor Show later this week.
