LONDON The exotic carmakers are falling all over themselves this week to promote their holiday collections, and Lamborghini is part of the crush. On Tuesday it showed off some of its latest limited-edition models, with not a car in sight but plenty of frivolities, including Christmas ornaments, candles and crayon stocking-stuffers for the kids.
The ceramic Christmas ornaments are most notable for their orange paint job, which is derived from "Arancio Borealis," one of the four exterior colors on the Gallardo Superleggera. The Italian automaker is also selling a set of orange candles with the Lamborghini shield. A set of 20 Christmas cards features the Lamborghini Reventón.
Lambo isn't being a Grinch as far as the kiddies are concerned, either. They can get Lamborghini coloring books and crayons, which the company describes as "ideal presents for junior car enthusiasts."
The company's collection is available at the Lamborghini Boutique Web site.
