Automobile major Mahindra & Mahindra unveiled on Wednesday Scorpio Getaway - the sports utility vehicle version of its successful model Scorpio.
Ashish Malik, General Manager, told reporters that the SUV variant is targetted at the young, image conscious and outgoing consumer.
The company, which has earlier launched the vehicle in Chandigarh, will launch it in the rest of the country by the end of the year. The vehicle has been launched in the overseas markets in South Africa and Australia, he informed.
Scorpio Getaway is offered as a personal lifestyle vehicle. It is offered in two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, Malik said.
The prices in the Pune market are Rs 7 lakh for two-wheel drive and Rs 8 lakh for the four wheel drive (ex-show room).
