This year the museum will honor Parnelli Jones and his contributions to the world of motor sports. The evening, which will be hosted by Dave McLelland, will honor Jones's long racing career, which included Indy car, Trans Am, Formula One, and stock-car races.

The evening's program includes showings of rare vintage racing films, a memorabilia auction, and interviews with many of the notables in attendance including Jonoes, Mario Andretti, George Follmer, Shav Glick, Andy Granatelli, Dan Gurney, Joe Leonard, Les Richter, Steve Saleen, Carroll Shelby, Al Unser Sr., and Bobby Unser.
The museum's recently opened Indy 500 exhibit will serve as a backdrop. Chronicling the race's history and evolution, the exhibit features depictions of every vehicle and driver that has won the race since its inception in 1911 as well as race-winning and scale-model cars. On this night, the exhibit will display many of the cars that Jones raced in throughout his career.
