Infiniti has announced that its 2007 G35 will bear the same MSRP as the outgoing model at $31,450.
The G35 Journey model with Premium package, which Infiniti calls the most popular G35, is priced $700 lower than the similar 2006 model and also includes a Bose premium audio system, "intelligent" key and other features not found on the 2006 version. Infiniti adds a $700 destination charge to all prices.
The $31,450 price is for the base, rear-wheel-drive model with a five-speed automatic transmission. The G35 Journey version of that model is priced at $31,900. For the G35x AWD, MSRP is $33,950, with the G35 Sport priced at $33,450 and the G35 Sport 6MT, equipped as the name suggests with a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission, priced at $32,250. All G35s get Infiniti's fourth-generation VQ35 3.5-liter V6 engine that makes 306 horsepower and 268 pound-feet of torque.
Optional on the G35 Sport and G35 Sport 6MT is Infiniti's Four-Wheel Active Steer system. Another option is the Infiniti Studio on Wheels, a premium audio system developed with Bose. The G35 is on sale now.
