Hyundai Motor India today said it sold 25,849 cars in April 2006, of which domestic sales accounted for 15,007 units and exports 10,842 cars.
In April 2005, the company sold 19,915 cars of which domestic sales accounted for 13,262 vehicles and exports 6,553 cars. A company press release said it sold 21,805 units of the Santro and Getz in April this year, 3,688 units of the Accent, 239 units of Elantra, 71 Sonatas and 46 sports utility vehicles (Tucson and Terracan).
In April 2005, the company sold 15,578 units of the Santro and Getz, 3,791 Accents, 206 Elantras, 119 Sonatas and 221 sports utility vehicles.
