Pricol Technologies, which provides engineering solutions for the transportation vertical has signed a 50:50 joint venture with the Italian auto-styling manor, Carcerano Srl. CEO, Pricol, Vikram Mohan said the new dispensation will be known as Carcerano Pricol Tech India.
The acquisition is aimed at strategically positioning Pricol as a complete product-life-cycle solution provider to the global transportation industry, particularly the automotive vertical, Mohan said. Art-to-part solutions
Pricol offers product engineering solutions ranging from design, CAD-CAE, prototyping, manufacturing engineering and component production through its group companies in die-casting, injection moulding, powder metal and machining. With the formation of Carcerano-Pricol Tech, the company hopes to offer product styling as part of a larger suite of 'art-to-part' solutions.
