| Porsche 911 Turbo hits the mark |
|
All hail the mighty Porsche 911 Turbo, which made its first public appearance at the Geneva motor show.
Using a twin-turbo version of the 911's 3.6-litre engine, the Turbo bellows out 480bhp to see it go from 0-62mph in just 3.9 seconds. Opt for the Tiptronic auto and that time drops to 3.7 seconds.
Whichever gearbox option you go for, top speed is 192mph.
Four-wheel drive remains as a Turbo staple, while the brakes have been enlarged and there are new front and rear wings to keep things glued to the ground at high speed.
UK buyers don't have long to wait for the Turbo because it goes on sale here in June at a price of £97,840.
