| DaimlerChrysler Services Continues to Support the Rebirth of Englewood's Initiatives of Community Development for Chicago's South Side Neighborhoods |

CHICAGO, /PRNewswire/ -- DaimlerChrysler Services, the financial services unit of DaimlerChrysler AG, is a contributing sponsor to this Saturday's Rebirth of Englewood Community Development Corporation's Second Annual Diamond Gala Celebration.
The event will be held Saturday, December 17, 2005, at The Stadium Club at U.S. Cellular Field starting at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:15 p.m. and an awards program at 8:15 p.m.
DaimlerChrysler Services is renewing its commitment to the Englewood organization as a second-year sponsor at the $15,000 level.
Peter Guthrie, Director of the company's Chicagoland-based Midwest Business Center, said the company supports the vision of U.S. Congressman Bobby L. Rush.
"We actively support Congressman Rush's vision of diligently providing assistance to residents of the Englewood and West Englewood areas through programs geared toward social and economic development," Guthrie said.
DaimlerChrysler Services partnered with Rebirth of Englewood earlier this year as part of MoneySmart Week, a community initiative focusing on financial education sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
DaimlerChrysler Services Midwest Business Center's approximately 80 employees serve 500 automotive dealers and their customers in a six-state region.
