| Moon Township, Penn., Family Wins the 'Great Dodge Durango Wrap-Off' |
 |
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Kreitzburg family of Moon Township, Penn., never would have guessed they would be wrapping a gift they could drive home this holiday season. Out of 8,416 online contest entries, the Dodge brand and Fox & Friends randomly selected the Kreitzburgs to compete in the Great Dodge Durango Wrap-Off live on national television where they won a 24-month lease on a new 2006 Dodge Durango.
The Kreitzburgs were one of two families that were flown to New York City, The Big Apple, to compete in the wrap-off that took place live on Fox & Friends today. In honor of being finalists, the Kreitzburgs and their competitors the Hargis Family received an all-expensed paid weekend in The Big Apple to enjoy the holiday cheer while they prepared for the upcoming wrap-off challenge. The two finalist families were chosen at random among the 8,416 families that entered the contest online.
"The 'Great Durango Wrap-Off' contest gave families a chance to channel their creativity and expression to create the most appealing package," said Fred Diaz, Director, Dodge Communications. "The right packaging is something we don't take lightly at Dodge. The Dodge Durango is the perfect package of performance, best-in-class cargo capacity, safety features and conveniences."
It was the ribbon curling skills of Sydni, 9 and Brenna, 8 along with the invisible tape lines of Shelly that led the Kreitzburg family to victory. The two competing families had one hour to fully gift wrap the Dodge Durangos and were judged on their creativity and precision in wrapping the giant gifts. The families were armed with enormous amounts of colorful paper, ribbon, holiday decorations ... and most importantly, their imagination.
"This definitely was the largest wrapping project I have ever been faced with," said Gerald Kreitzburg. "Who would have thought our gift wrapping skills and teamwork would lead to such an unbelievable gift our whole family will enjoy?"
