Visteon Appoints Kimberley Crews Goode as Vice President, Corporate Communications
VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, Mich., /PRNewswire/ -- Visteon Corporation announced that Kimberley Crews Goode will join the company as vice president, corporate communications, beginning Jan. 3, 2006.

Reporting to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mike Johnston, Goode will be responsible for Visteon's global internal and external communications strategy, policies and initiatives. She will support the company's business objectives through strategic communications involving employees, media, customers, investors and other stakeholders.

Goode brings extensive communications experience with several global companies in diverse industries. Most recently, she was vice president of worldwide communications for Kellogg Co., based in Battle Creek, Mich.

"Kimberley brings a wealth of communications experience at global organizations that will help foster a world-class communications environment at Visteon," Johnston said. "Her extensive experience and strong reputation in the communications field make her a valuable addition to our leadership team."

Before joining Kellogg, Goode held various leadership positions at Prudential Financial, Inc. in Newark, N.J., leaving as vice president, global communications, in 2004. From 1996-1998, she was director of communications at American Express in New York, where she led the company's global communications function for all technology operations. From 1990-1996, Goode was at Galileo International in Rosemont, Ill., where she headed corporate relations in her last assignment. Goode began her career in 1987 at Allstate Insurance Co. in Northbrook, Ill., where she progressed through a variety of roles in internal and external communications.

Goode has earned numerous awards from industry organizations, including the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and Women in Communication, Inc. The New Jersey chapter of IABC named her Communicator of the Year in 2003. She received an Outstanding Women in Marketing and Communications Award from Ebony magazine in 2002 and was selected one of America's Best and Brightest Business and Professional Women by National Publications and Dollars & Sense magazine. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the Arthur W. Page Society.

Goode is a graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
